Alhaji Yusif Ibrahim
serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana)
Limited. In 1975, he started transporting fuel from the Tema Oil Refinery to
the B.P Depot in Kumasi. Alhaji Yusif's transporting business then gave birth and made
way for the establishment of a bicycle plant in Tamale in the Northern part of
Ghana for the mass production of bicycles which were popularly called the 'Busanga Volvo' bike. The success of this business led to the formation of the DARA SALAM GROUP OF COMPANIES LTD.
