Limited (ATL) and various companies.
ATL is a member of the
CHA Group of companies, a leading multinational textile group which was
established by Chinese entrepreneur, Cha Chi Ming.
ATL was 100% privately
owned until the government required all foreign-owned private companies in
Ghana to have Ghanaian partners. In response to this, ATL sold some of its
shares to two private Ghanaian entrepreneurs; Jonathan Herbert Frimpong-Ansah
owner of Angelina Textiles and another local partner. Jonathan Frimpong-Ansah
ended up having a 20% stake in the company.
